INSTANT GAME OFFERS CHANCE TO APPEAR
ON TV'S "WHEEL OF FORTUNE"
DOVER, DE -- Tickets for WHEEL
OF FORTUNE *, the Delaware Lottery's newest $3 Instant Game,
are now available at more than 450 Delaware Lottery Retailers.
In addition to a $3,000 top cash prize, WHEEL OF FORTUNE Instant
Game players can win a WHEEL OF FORTUNE merchandise prize
package in a second-chance drawing, plus entry in a Grand
Prize drawing for a trip to Hollywood and a chance to appear
on the "Wheel of Fortune" television game show.
Brian Peters, Lottery Deputy Director of Marketing said, "It
should come as no surprise that Lottery players enjoy game
shows. Since our new WHEEL OF FORTUNE game gives them a unique
opportunity to see the show - and possibly be on it - we think
it will be very successful."
A second-chance drawing will be held in January 2005 to award
53 WHEEL OF FORTUNE merchandise prize packages, each valued
at $589, featuring a polar fleece jacket, leather travel bag,
blanket/pillow, sports shirts, baseball cap and T-shirt.
Second chance drawing winners will automatically be entered
into a Grand Prize drawing for a WHEEL OF FORTUNE Trip for
Two, valued at $4,200. The Grand Prize includes a four-day,
three-night trip for two to Hollywood, California, airfare,
hotel, transfers, on-site hosting, $1,000 in spending money,
two seating passes to a taping of TV's "Wheel of Fortune"
and an audition for a chance to become a contestant on the
show.
To enter the second chance drawing, players must complete
the back of a non-winning WHEEL OF FORTUNE Instant Game ticket
and send it to: Delaware Lottery WHEEL OF FORTUNE Drawing
P. O. Box 1347, Dover, DE 19903 - 1347. All entries must be
received by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2005.
The new Instant Game features two top cash prizes worth $3,000,
plus seven other cash prize levels from $3 to $120. Each $3
ticket offers players four chances to win. WHEEL OF FORTUNE
offers 61,462 prizes with a total value of $446,417. Average
odds of winning a prize are 1 in 3.91, based on selling all
240,000 $3 tickets printed for this game.
