Play Responsibly

For Lottery players, some numbers may be more important than others.

This is one of them:

1-888-850-8888
Delaware Council on Gambling Problems Helpline

If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call the Delaware Gambling Helpline — right away. Free, professional advice and assistance is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

There are limits — you should know yours.

At the Delaware Lottery, we want everyone to enjoy playing Lottery games, and we want everyone to do so responsibly — without spending more than they can afford. When everyone plays responsibly, we all win. For these reasons, the Delaware Lottery joins other lotteries across the country in supporting responsible play. We continue to build on our past efforts to deal with the issue of problem gambling:

  • A portion of Lottery proceeds are channeled into the Department of Health and Social Services, through the General Fund, to address problem gambling concerns. In FY23, the Lottery contributed over $1.8 million to help fund problem gambling programs offered by the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services.
  • To call attention to the potential for problem gambling, we place the Play Responsibly message and helpline number on all Lottery advertisements, promotions, Video Lottery terminals and Retailer ticket terminals.

Don't gamble with the future. Call for help today.
