MULTI-WIN LOTTO JACKPOT WIN MARKS NEW FATHER AND DAUGHTER TRADITION

Dover, DE -- A 27-year-old retail employee from New Castle is $154,005 richer after a hunch and some fatherly encouragement led to her big MULTI-WIN LOTTO payout, courtesy of the Delaware Lottery.

The winning ticket was included in a sampling of Delaware Lottery games purchased at Manor BP on North DuPont Highway in New Castle for the Nov. 25 drawing, according to the happy woman.

“We had a hunch,” she said, citing her father’s decision to play the lottery as her reason for regularly playing.   “I scanned the ticket at a 7-11 and asked, ‘Are you serious?’”

But her Quick Pick numbers were seriously lucky – and after calling to tell her dad of her good fortune, the first-time winner settled into the new reality.

“This will give me security for a little bit,” she noted.  “I have no idea what to buy (with the winnings).”  Claiming her prize at Delaware Lottery Headquarters on Nov. 28, she did make plans to return, noting that she’ll continue to play the lottery – and most likely, the MULTI-WIN LOTTO: Her new favorite game.

Since the start of operations in 1975, the Delaware Lottery has contributed more than $3.35 billion to the state's General Fund to help finance needed state services that benefit everyone in Delaware. The Lottery oversees activities at the State's three licensed Video Lottery facilities and offers a variety of ticket games including: POWERBALL®, MEGA MILLIONS®, HOT LOTTO®, MULTI-WIN LOTTO, DELAWARE CASH 5®, PLAY 3, PLAY 4, and assorted Instant Games.
