Delaware Park Online Player Wins Highest “Royals Go Camping” Jackpot at $22,276.72

(DOVER, DE) — On Friday, May 26, 2017, one of Delaware Park’s online players took advantage of a promotional campaign for the virtual Video Lottery game The Royals Go Camping and won the game’s largest jackpot to date: $22,276.72. The promotion ran from May 25 through May 31. Online players who met the promotion terms and conditions were given a $5 voucher for The Royals Go Camping Video Lottery game. The campaign was in its second day when the lucky winner playing on Delaware Park’s online site won the jackpot.

“Online gaming in Delaware is an exciting and convenient alternative to playing at one of the states three casinos,” said Vernon Kirk, director of the Delaware Lottery. “And, as this jackpot win demonstrates, it can also be a very rewarding experience.”

The Royals Go Camping is a Video Lottery game that provides a progressive jackpot for all three iGaming sites in Delaware: Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway. This progressive-jackpot game has been available online since iGaming launched in October 2013. Since the game’s launch, the jackpot has been hit seven times, with a total payout of $97,095.51. This past weekend was its highest jackpot payout; the last payout was in September 2016, at $15,539.38.

About the Delaware iGaming sites:
In October 2013, Delaware was the first state to launch real-money, casino-style online gaming. There are three sites available for players to play, one for each casino (Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway). All three iGaming sites provide a wide variety of Video Lottery games, peer-to-peer poker and table games, including several different versions of roulette and blackjack. They also provide the first-in-the-nation multistate poker platform, where Delaware online players have the opportunity to sit and play at shared poker tables 24/7 with Nevada players from Caesar Interactive Entertainment’s WSOP.com site. Delaware players can also try their luck on the go with the iGaming mobile apps, available on iOS devices. All online playing activity must be done within the state of Delaware, and you must be 21 years of age to register.
