Hot Lotto® Prize Money To Roll Forward To New Lotto America℠ Draw Game With All-Star Bonus

The new Lotto America℠ grand prize will start at $15 million—for one time only!

(DOVER, Del.) — With no winning jackpot ticket sold before or during the final HOT LOTTO® drawing on Saturday, Oct. 28, America’s newest multimillion-dollar draw game, Lotto America℠ with All-Star Bonus, will offer players a starting grand prize of $15 million. The regular starting amount of Lotto America℠ Grand Prizes is $2 million. Any additional prize funds remaining from the HOT LOTTO® game will roll forward to the new Lotto America℠ game or participating Lotteries to be awarded as prizes. The first drawing will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 15. Sales for the new $1 draw game begin on Sunday, Nov. 12.

“We know that players are motivated by larger jackpots, and we are excited to deliver the high Lotto America℠ starting point to kick off the game nationwide,” said Vernon Kirk, director of the Delaware Lottery. “Attention-grabbing jackpots get more players into our Retailers—and we are looking forward to seeing how much of an impact this new game will make on the vital programs throughout the state of Delaware.”

The Lotto America℠ prize will increase by a minimum of $50,000 per draw, until it’s won. Once game sales are implemented on Nov. 12, the overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 9.63.

The 14 lotteries that participate in the multi-jurisdictional HOT LOTTO® game will offer the new Lotto America℠ game. Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee and West Virginia lotteries are currently working on new ways to excite players, and will introduce a new $1 draw game that will launch later this year.

Lotto America℠ drawings will be held every Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m. ET in Tallahassee, Florida. Drawings will not be televised. The Lotto America℠ game will feature two draw machines. The first machine will contain 52 balls, and the second machine will contain 10 balls. Five balls will be drawn from the first machine, and one ball—the Lotto America℠ Star Ball—will be drawn from the second machine.
