A Big Win To Start The Weekend

(DOVER, Del.) — For a 63-year-old Millsboro man, persistence has paid off. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, has been regularly playing the CASH FEVER Instant Game since it was released. So, when the man visited the BP Pep-Up Gas Station in Millsboro, he decided to purchase one CASH FEVER ticket before leaving - a ticket that ended up being a $150,000 winner.

The man, who has been playing the Lottery for ten years, said he enjoys playing Instant Games, specifically those with big prize amounts. This was the first big win for the man, but he’s hoping to win one of the POWERBALL® and MEGA MILLIONS® jackpots in the near future.

When asked what he plans on doing with his winnings, the man said he plans to put the money away for retirement.

“This is our second top prize winner for the CASH FEVER Instant Game,” said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “It’s exciting to see both top prizes won.”

The first $150,000 CASH FEVER winning ticket was claimed by a Milford man in February of this year.

The man claimed his prize at Lottery Headquarters on October 19, 2018.
