Dover man celebrates a $15,000 KENO® win

Dover, DE — Calvin Hudson, a 56-year-old man from Dover, recently decided to stop by Fraizer’s Restaurant in Dover to play KENO®. Mr. Hudson was in for a serious surprise when he ended up matching six of six numbers with a 10x Bonus Multiplier, making him a $15,000 winner before taxes.

“Congratulations to Mr. Hudson on his big KENO® win,” said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “It’s always exciting to see players multiply their winnings.”

Mr. Hudson said he started playing KENO® because of all the excitement that it offers. On April 18th, he purchased a single KENO® 6 spot ticket with Bonus for 10 consecutive games and selected his own numbers on the day of his $15,000 win. This is his first win of this size.

“There’s not really a method to the way I play,” said Mr. Hudson, “I just enjoy watching the live drawings and having some fun.”

Mr. Hudson’s friends helped him celebrate his big win. When he saw his numbers come up and realized it was a 10x Multiplier game, Mr. Hudson said he couldn’t help but shout, “BAM!”

Mr. Hudson claimed his prize from Lottery Headquarters on April 19, 2021.

Keno is available at select locations throughout the state. KENO® is an easy, fun and fast-paced bingo-style lottery game.

Keno is available daily from 6:04am to 1:04am. Drawings are held every four minutes. See delottery.com for complete details and to find out where to play.
