Dover woman wins $150,000 playing CASH CRAZE

Dover, DE — A 55-year-old slot ambassador from Dover has claimed the first $150,000 top prize for the Instant Game CASH CRAZE. The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket while visiting Shore Stop #231 on South State Street in Dover.

“What an exciting start for this new $20 price point Instant Game,” said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “Congratulations to this big winner. One $150,000 top prize is still out there, and we can’t wait to celebrate with whoever finds the lucky ticket.”

The woman said she enjoys all the fun that comes with playing Instant Games, and usually purchases between four and six tickets at a time. While she has won prizes as large as $500 playing Instant Games in the past, this is her biggest win to date.

“I was sitting in my car when I scratched the ticket and saw how much I won,” the woman said. “As soon as I saw $150,000, I called my Mom to tell her it was my lucky day!”

When asked what she was planning to do with her winnings, the woman said she’ll put the money toward a new car.

The woman claimed her prize from Lottery Headquarters on December 13, 2021.
