Greenwood man wins $10,000 playing CASH WORD
Dover, DE — Ryan Herka, a 24-year-old bartender from Greenwood, has claimed the fourth $10,000 top prize from the $5 Instant Game CASH WORD. Mr. Herka purchased the winning ticket while visiting Royal Farms #51 in Milford.
Although a lifelong Delaware resident, Mr. Herka said he only started playing Delaware Lottery Instant Games earlier this year to have some extra fun throughout the week. He was completely caught off guard by this $10,000 win. “When I scratched the ticket and saw how much I won, I just screamed,” said Mr. Herka. “I called my Mom and told her the good news right away.” This is his largest win to date.
“It’s always great to see new Instant Game players win big top prizes like this one,” said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “Congrats to Mr. Herka on his $10,000 win. There are three more tickets worth $10,000 still out there, and we can’t wait to celebrate with the lucky players who find them.”
The man claimed his prize from Lottery Headquarters on March 29, 2022.
