Lewes woman claims second $100,000 BONUS MONEY top prize

Dover, DE — A 60-year-old librarian from Lewes recently purchased two Instant Game tickets while visiting her local Wawa #834 in Lewes. One of those tickets was for the Instant Game BONUS MONEY. When the woman scratched the ticket, she was excited to discover it was a $100,000 winner.

The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said she only started playing the Delaware Lottery about four months ago. She usually purchases two or three Instant Game tickets at a time. “I also won a $1,000 prize a few months ago,” the woman said. “Beginner’s luck must be on my side!”

The woman said her first reaction to winning $100,000 was total shock. “I was so surprised. I called my cousin right away to tell them the good news,” the woman said. “It will be nice to pay off a few bills with the prize money.”

“Congratulations to this lucky player on their $100,000 win,” said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “One $100,000 BONUS MONEY top prize is still out there waiting for another lucky player to find it.”

The Delaware Lottery also currently offers $100K ULTIMATE CASH! —a new $20 price point Instant Game with three top prizes of $100,000 up for grabs. To view the latest Instant Games tickets available for purchase, please visit: Instant Games | Delaware Lottery.

The woman claimed her prize from Lottery Headquarters on May 4, 2022.
