Delaware MEGA MILLIONS® winners take home over $12,000 more in prizes under new prize matrix
Dover, DE — The new MEGA MILLIONS® enhancements are in full effect following the April 8th drawing which paid out over $12,000 more than the game would have under the previous prize matrix.
With better odds, larger starting jackpots, bigger payouts and a built-in multiplier of 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X on all non-jackpot prizes, the new MEGA MILLIONS® prize matrix offers players a chance to win even more from every drawing.
Here is a summary of the prizes awarded in Delaware following the April 8th drawing:

*New game prize totals are calculated based on the number of winners at each prize level and each multiplier value (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X and 10X), combined with the prize value of each of those subsets. Old game prize totals are calculated based on the number of winners at each prize level and the base prize payout under the old matrix.
Overall, winner payouts across the country were $3.4 million higher than they would have previously been thanks to the all-new MEGA MILLIONS® experience.
