The winners, who have chosen to remain anonymous, purchased their lucky ticket at Royal Farms #151 in Dover. They’ve been playing the 50^th Anniversary game for the past few months, usually purchasing three tickets at a time, and this big win couldn’t have come at a better time. They recently purchased a house together and are thrilled to be using their prize money to pay off the mortgage. “We still can’t believe it,” one of them said.

The winning moment had a touch of fate: the ticket number was 21, the winning number was 21, and one of the winners was born on the 21st. “As soon as I saw the number, I just had a feeling,” she added. That hunch turned into a life-changing win. They confirmed the prize using the Delaware Lottery’s app.
