Lucky in Life and Lottery: Local Bridgeville Woman Wins $20,000 Playing 100X the Celebration

Dover, DE — Stefanie Jones from Bridgeville, Delaware, is the latest Delaware Lottery player to claim a $20,000 prize in the Delaware Lottery’s 100X The Celebration Instant Game. Call it luck, magic or just being in the right place at the right time, Stefanie thinks it’s a “fabulous blessing” and we couldn’t agree more.

Jones has been a dedicated Lottery player for about ten years. She felt an overwhelming sense of relief and joy when she scratched her ticket and saw the $20,000 prize. “It was such a wonderful feeling,” she said. “I just kept looking at the ticket to make sure I was seeing it right.”

Stefani is no stranger to winning. She’s won four smaller prizes in the past, but this one is really going to help her get back on her feet again. “I feel anxiety-free, more at peace, and this win couldn’t have come at a better time. It’s a fabulous blessing,” she added. The first person she shared the news with was her roommate, who was just as thrilled for her.

Jones purchased the winning ticket at Royal Farms, located at 18657 Sussex Highway in Bridgeville, Delaware. She claimed her prize at Delaware Lottery Headquarters on August 20, 2025.

"Stories like Stefanie’s are what make our work so rewarding," said Helene Keeley, Director of the Delaware Lottery. "Her joy is contagious, and we’re thrilled that this win was able to help her get back on her feet again."
