Delaware’s David Zettlemoyer Advances as a National Semifinalist in NASCAR Powerball Playoff™
Dover, DE — David Zettlemoyer of Magnolia has advanced as one of 16 national semifinalists in the 2025 NASCAR Powerball Playoff™, a thrilling national promotion from Powerball® that concludes with four lottery players winning a VIP trip to NASCAR Championship Weekend™ and the chance to win $1 million at the NASCAR Cup Series Championship™ Race on Nov. 2 at Phoenix Raceway®.
Zettlemoyer earned a spot among the 16 national semifinalists after being randomly selected as one of 10 Delaware semifinalists through the Delaware Lottery’s Players Club, receiving $500 in cash and new spinner luggage. The opportunity for a chance to be named a Delaware semifinalist was open to all residents with an active Players Club account.
“We’re thrilled to see a Delaware Lottery Players Club member advance as a national semifinalist in this year’s NASCAR Powerball Promotion,” said Helene Keeley, Director of the Delaware Lottery. Delaware is proud to have a semifinalist in this promotion for the second year in a row. Zettlemoyer will join the ranks of Anthony Lawerence, a Delaware semifinalist in the 2024 NASCAR Powerball Playoff.
Over the next few months, the 16 semifinalists will face a series of drawings that coincide with the NASCAR Playoff elimination rounds. The final four players will win a VIP trip for two to NASCAR Championship Weekend™ at Phoenix Raceway® from Oct. 31 – Nov. 2 for a chance to win $1 million. The live $1 million drawing will be held on Sun., Nov. 2, during NBC’s pre-race coverage of the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race™. Each of the 16 semifinalists will be awarded cash prizes based on their elimination position.
