Lewes Man Wins $150,000 Playing Fast Bucks Instant Game
Dover, DE — A 69-year-old man from Lewes is celebrating a $150,000 win from the Delaware Lottery’s Fast Bucks Instant Game. The winning ticket was purchased at Acme #2679, located at 18578 Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach.
The married Delaware native, who works for the United States Postal Service, has been playing the Lottery for fun since 2017. He’s no stranger to winning, having previously claimed a prize from the popular Willy Wonka game, but this $150,000 win left him completely stunned.
He discovered his win while at Acme and immediately shared the exciting news with the store’s customer service staff. The longtime player said he plans to use the prize money to pay off credit cards and invest for the future. “I still can’t believe it,” he said.
“It was fantastic to meet this big winner - a loyal player of ours since 2017 and a dedicated Post Office employee. We’re happy to hear that his lucky streak is still going strong and excited to see where his good fortunes take him in the future,” said Helene Keeley, Director of the Delaware Lottery.
