New Year’s Eve Surprise: Newark Man Wins $10,000 Playing $10 Grand Grab Instant Game

Dover, DE — Ronald Walls, a 55-year-old man from Newark, DE, has claimed a $10,000 prize from the Delaware Lottery’s $10 Grand Grab Instant Game. The winning ticket was purchased at Acme #2680–Newark, located at 100 College Square, Newark, DE, and Walls claimed his prize at Delaware Lottery headquarters on December 31, 2025.

A Delaware native, Walls works as an electrician and has been playing the Delaware Lottery for approximately 30 years. He typically purchases four tickets at a time and plays for the chance to win. While he has won smaller prizes in the past, this marks his largest Lottery win to date.

Walls discovered his win by carefully reading his ticket and said he was very happy when he realized he had won. The first person he told was his significant other. He plans to use the prize money to help pay bills.
