Dover Woman Wins $150,000 Powerball^® Prize With Gifted Ticket

Dover, DE — A 31-year-old woman from Dover is celebrating a $150,000 win after playing Powerball^®, thanks to a ticket she received as a Christmas gift. She claimed her prize at Delaware Lottery headquarters on February 5, 2026. The winning ticket was purchased at Harrington Raceway and Casino, located at 15 W. Rider Road in Harrington.

The winner matched four numbers plus the Powerball^® in the December 20, 2025 drawing. The winning numbers were 04, 05, 52, 63, and 69, with Powerball^® number 20.

The woman, who works in environmental services, has been playing the Delaware Lottery since she was 18 years old. She typically purchases five tickets at a time and selects her numbers using Quick Pick, though she noted that this particular ticket was a gift and not one she purchased herself.

She said she checked the winning numbers online and shed happy tears when she realized she had won. The first person she shared the happy news with was her mother. The winner plans to use the prize money toward a down payment on a home.

Powerball^® drawings are held three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 PM ET, with tickets available at Lottery retailers statewide until 9:45 PM ET on draw nights.
