Newark Woman Wins $100,000 Playing 100X Wild Instant Game

Dover, DE — A 58-year-old woman from Newark is celebrating a $100,000 win after playing the Delaware Lottery’s 100X Wild Instant Game. The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, purchased her winning ticket at B-P Christiana, located at 91 University Plaza in Newark, and claimed her prize at Delaware Lottery headquarters on February 27, 2026.

A retired Delaware native, the winner said she began playing Delaware Lottery games about four years ago simply for fun, typically purchasing three tickets at a time.

She discovered the win by scanning her ticket and said she was completely shocked when she realized she had won the top prize. The first people she shared the happy news with were her children. The winner said she plans to use the prize money to purchase a new car.

“We’re thrilled for this winner and to see that this prize will help her with such an important purchase,” said Helene Keeley, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “Wins like this are always exciting to celebrate, and we remind all players to enjoy Lottery games by playing responsibly.”

The 100X Wild Instant Game costs $20 and offers players the chance to win top prizes of up to $100,000. Players can find our current line-up of exciting Instant Games at participating Delaware Lottery retailers statewide.
