Expiration of Video Lottery Machine Credit Slips (Ticket-In/Ticket-Out)
April 29, 2020
The Delaware State Lottery (“Lottery”) has received inquiries regarding video lottery machine credit slips (Ticket-In/Ticket-Out) which have a one-year expiration date that will occur during the period of casino closure. The Lottery has determined that the expiration dates for these tickets will be automatically extended to occur 60 days after the casinos are authorized by the Governor to reopen. Video lottery machine credit slips that expire between March 16, 2020 and no more than sixty days after the reopening Order can be redeemed at the cashier’s cage of the casino where the video lottery machine was played. The Lottery is taking this step to protect consumers and to ensure that all patrons have a full and fair opportunity to redeem outstanding video lottery machine credit slips. The Director of the Lottery has issued an Order regarding the extended deadline to redeem these credit slips. You can read it here.
× The Delaware Lottery office will be closed on Monday 5/25/2020 in observance of Memorial Day.
