(DOVER, Del.) — Valerie Houston, a 53-year-old case manager from Wilmington, has claimed the second $750 prize from the September 7, 2021 Collect ‘N Win drawing.

A lifelong Delaware resident, Ms. Houston said she started playing the Delaware Lottery shortly after turning 18. Her favorite Draw Games are PLAY 3® and PLAY 4®, and she also enjoys playing any Instant Games that are eligible for Collect ‘N Win. Ms. Houston entered about 50 non-winning tickets through the Collect ‘N Win app each day of August for the September second chance drawing.

“I’ve been playing for a long time, and I’ve always enjoyed all the chances to win big,” Ms. Houston said. She’s won multiple three and four digit prizes playing Draw Games in the past, and was delighted to receive an email letting her know she was a $750 winner.

Newark man wins $40,000 playing HELLO MONEY

(DOVER, Del.) — A 73-year-old man from Newark has claimed the first $40,000 top prize for the HELLO MONEY! Instant Game ticket. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket while visiting Books & News on East Chestnut Hill Road in Newark.

The man said he moved to Delaware twelve years ago. He’s been enjoying the excitement of the Delaware Lottery for the past six of those years, usually purchasing two Instant Game tickets at the same exact time every day. “I always buy my tickets at noon,” the man said.

“I was so surprised when I scanned my ticket and saw my prize,” the man said. “I couldn’t believe it.” After realizing he really was a $40,000 winner, the man quickly contacted his daughter, who helped him celebrate the occasion. This is his biggest win to date.

When asked what he intended to do with his winnings, the man said it will help him in many ways. “I’ll use some of the money to pay off a few bills. It will definitely make things a little easier,” he said.

Laurel man wins $250,000 playing DREAMIN’ XXL

(DOVER, Del.) — A 32-year-old maintenance worker from Laurel has claimed the final $250,000 top prize from the Instant Game DREAMIN’ XXL. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket from his local Royal Farms #171 in Laurel.

The man said he started playing the Delaware Lottery about seven years ago and usually purchases three Instant Game tickets at a time. On this particular visit, however, he decided to celebrate his payday by purchasing four. When that small celebration ended up turning into a $250,000 win, the man said he was in total shock.

“When I scratched the ticket and saw how much I won, I just couldn’t believe it” the man said. “I had to call my wife right away to tell her the good news.” The man has won multiple prizes playing Instant Games in the past, but this is by far his biggest win.

When asked what he was planning to do with his winnings, the man said he intends to put the money toward paying off some bills.

Middletown woman wins $10,000 playing DREAMIN’ XXL

(DOVER, Del.) — A 45-year-old waitress from Middletown, who wished to remain anonymous, recently purchased a single DREAMIN’ XXL Instant Game ticket during a routine stop at her local Super G #388 in Middletown. Two Newark men share $25,000 MONEY WONDER top prize

Pennsylvania man wins big in Delaware

(DOVER, Del.) — John G., a 39-year-old union carpenter from Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania, recently purchased a DREAMIN’ XXL Instant Game ticket while visiting Wawa #854 in Claymont. After scratching the ticket while filling up his gas tank, he could not believe what he had revealed – he had become the game’s latest $10,000 winner.

Seaford woman wins $75,112 playing MULTI-WIN LOTTO®

Wilmington woman celebrates a $50,000 POWERBALL® win

(DOVER, Del.) — A 57-year-old woman from Wilmington matched four white balls and the POWERBALL® in the July 10th POWERBALL® drawing, winning $50,000 before taxes. Selbyville man wins $20,000 playing 20X THE WIN

(DOVER, Del.) — Arthur Hemenway, a 79-year-old retired man from Selbyville, recently purchased twelve Instant Game tickets while visiting his local Royal Farms #263 on Lighthouse Road in Selbyville. One of those tickets was a 20X THE WIN Instant Game ticket, which ended up making him the game’s first $20,000 top prize winner.

Pennsylvania man wins $15,000 playing ULTIMATE 7’S

(DOVER, Del.) — Nathan Klingensmith, a 22-year-old Air Force bioenvironmental engineer from Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, recently purchased three Instant Game tickets while visiting Wawa #845 along Route 10 in Dover. Newark co-workers share $1,000,000 MEGA MILLIONS® win

(DOVER, Del.) — A 50-year-old administrative assistant from New Castle has claimed the second $15,000 top prize for the CA$H PLU$ Instant Game. The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket from Books & News in Newark.

Dover man celebrates a $15,000 KENO® win

(DOVER, Del.) — Calvin Hudson, a 56-year-old man from Dover, recently decided to stop by Fraizer’s Restaurant in Dover to play KENO®. Mr. Hudson was in for a serious surprise when he ended up matching six of six numbers with a 10x Bonus Multiplier, making him a $15,000 winner before taxes.

(DOVER, Del.) — DA 39-year-old man from Newark purchased a DREAMIN’ XXL Instant Game ticket during a visit to Hank’s House of Liquors in New Castle. When he scratched the ticket, he was completely surprised by what he saw. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, had become the game’s latest $10,000 winner.

The man said he plays the Delaware Lottery because he enjoys the thrill of a big win, and usually purchases two or three Instant Game tickets at a time. He has won a few prizes in the past, but this is his biggest win yet.

February Collect ’N Win $1,000 Winner

(DOVER, Del.) — John Kennedy, a 62-year-old retired man from Millsboro, has claimed the first $1,000 Collect ‘N Win prize from the February 2, 2021 drawing.

Mr. Kennedy, who has been playing the Delaware Lottery for over 40 years, plays all the Draw Games and any Instant Games that are eligible for Collect ‘N Win. He entered around 200 non-winning tickets through the Collect ‘N Win mobile app in January for the February second chance drawing.

Maryland man wins $10,000 playing SIX FIGURES

(DOVER, Del.) — A 61-year-old truck driver from Fruitland, MD purchased a SIX FIGURES Instant Game ticket while visiting Wawa #852 on North DuPont Highway in New Castle. After scratching the ticket, he couldn’t believe what he saw. His SIX FIGURES ticket had made him the game’s latest $10,000 winner in an instant.

The man, who wished to remain anonymous, said he started playing the Lottery six years ago. No stranger to winning, he has previously won $25,000 playing Instant Games. After the initial shock of this latest big win, he quickly called his wife to share the exciting news.

When asked what he was planning to do with his winnings, the man said he’ll put the money toward paying some bills.

Clayton woman starts the year with a $50,000 POWERBALL® win

(DOVER, Del.) —A 55-year-old woman from Clayton matched four white balls and the POWERBALL® in the January 6 POWERBALL® drawing, winning $50,000 before taxes. The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket from Clayton Liquor in Clayton.

The woman said she has been playing the Delaware Lottery for 15 years, and usually purchases five POWERBALL® tickets at a time. She was completely shocked to see her winning numbers announced on TV. This is her first big win.

Maryland man wins $10,000 playing SIX FIGURES

(DOVER, Del.) — George Annis, a 60-year-old man from Chesapeake Beach, MD purchased a single SIX FIGURES Instant Game ticket during a recent visit to Food Lion #1206 in Selbyville. Much to his surprise, that ticket ended up winning him $10,000 in an instant.
