While a lifelong Delaware resident, Mr. Mosley said he only began playing the Delaware Lottery about two years ago. He entered 50 non-winning tickets throughout April for the May Collect ‘N Win drawing. “A friend told me about the second chance drawings, and I’ve been entering them ever since,” Mr. Mosley said. “I won a $1,000 Collect ‘N Win prize before, so I couldn’t believe it when I saw my name listed on the website again.”

Lewes woman claims second $100,000 BONUS MONEY top prize

(DOVER, Del.) — A 60-year-old librarian from Lewes recently purchased two Instant Game tickets while visiting her local Wawa #834 in Lewes. One of those tickets was for the Instant Game BONUS MONEY. When the woman scratched the ticket, she was excited to discover it was a $100,000 winner.

Wilmington man wins $50,000 playing POWERBALL®

(DOVER, Del.) — Nathaniel Perry, an 80-year-old retired man from Wilmington, recently purchased five tickets for the April 30th POWERBALL® drawing from Benson’s Liquor Mart in Wilmington. When he checked the winning numbers on the Delaware Lottery website, Mr. Perry realized it was truly his lucky day. One of his tickets had matched four white balls and the POWERBALL®, winning him $50,000 before taxes.

Mr. Perry said he has started playing Delaware Lottery Draw Games, “many, many years ago.” POWERBALL® has been a longstanding personal favorite, and he usually purchases five tickets at a time using Quick Pick. “I was so excited when I realized I was a $50,000 winner,” Mr. Perry said. “I’m happy beyond words.”

Mr. Perry said he’s still deciding what to do with his winnings, and plans to put the prize money into savings for the time being.

Dover woman wins first SERIOUS MONEY $300,000 top prize

Lincoln man wins $30,000 playing MEGA MILLIONS®

(DOVER, Del.) — A 60-year-old truck driver from Lincoln recently purchased ten MEGA MILLIONS® tickets for the April 8, 2022 drawing while visiting Royal Farms #141 in Ellendale. He was surprised to find that one of those tickets ended up matching all four numbers and the MEGABALL®. Wilmington woman purchases two $75,000 winning KENO® tickets

Two Elsmere winners split $51,000 MULTI-WIN LOTTO® prize

Lewes woman wins latest CASH XTREME $250,000 top prize


(DOVER, Del.) — A 60-year-old customer service associate from Lewes has claimed the second $250,000 top prize for the Instant Game CASH XTREME. The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket from Wawa #849 on Wolfe Neck Road in Rehoboth.

Milford man wins $238,000 playing MULTI-WIN LOTTO®


(DOVER, Del.) — A 55-year-old sanitation technician from Milford recently purchased ten MULTI-WIN LOTTO® tickets for the February 11, 2022 drawing while visiting Tiger Mart in Dover. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, was shocked to discover that one of those tickets matched all six numbers, making him a $238,000 winner.

The Delaware native said he has been playing Delaware Lottery Draw Games for about 30 years. He selects his numbers using Quick Pick, and usually purchases seven tickets at a time. “I decided to get a few extra MULTI-WIN LOTTO® tickets this time, just to see if I could get lucky,” the man said. “I never expected I would end up winning more than I ever have before.” He was happy to share the excitement of this $238,000 win with his wife, who he called immediately after scanning the winning ticket.

Millsboro man wins $150,000 playing FANTASTIC MONEY MANIA


(DOVER, Del.) — A 56-year-old construction worker from Millsboro has claimed the first $150,000 top prize for the Instant Game FANTASTIC MONEY MANIA. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket while visiting his local Shore Stop #295 on Long Neck Road in Millsboro.

Bear woman wins $10,000 playing CASH FLURRIES

Middletown woman wins $10,000 playing MEGA MILLIONS®


(DOVER, Del.) — A 55-year-old customer service professional from Middletown recently purchased a MEGA MILLIONS® ticket for the January 4, 2022 drawing from Cochran Liquors in Middletown. Much to her surprise, she ended up matching four numbers and the MEGABALL® , making her the game’s latest $10,000 winner.

The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said she always selects her own numbers while playing MEGA MILLIONS®. She learned about her $10,000 win while watching TV with her spouse. “It’s my biggest win so far,” the woman said. “I couldn’t believe it when they announced my numbers.”

The winning numbers from the January 4, 2022 drawing were 04, 06, 16, 21 and 22. The MEGABALL® number was 01 and the MEGAPLIER® number was 3X.

January’s Second Collect ’N Win $1,000 Winner


(DOVER, Del.) — Bruce Behringer, a 71-year-old retired man from New Castle, has claimed the second $1,000 prize from the Collect ‘N Win drawing on January 4, 2022.

New Castle man wins first CASH WORD $10,000 top prize


(DOVER, Del.) — Dennis Crossan, a 45-year-old man from New Castle, has claimed the first $10,000 top prize from the recently introduced $5 Instant Game CASH WORD. Mr. Crossan purchased the winning ticket from Wawa #823 in Bear.

A lifelong Delaware resident, Mr. Crossan said he has been an avid player of Delaware Lottery Instant Games for the past 15 years. He usually purchases multiple tickets at a time, and said he enjoys playing simply because, “it’s something fun to do.”

While Mr. Crossan has won prizes as large as $1,000 playing Instant Games in the past, this is his largest win to date. “I was in shock when I saw how much I won,” said Mr. Crossan. “Once I realized I really was a $10,000 winner, I called my wife right away to tell her the good news.”

When asked what he was planning to do with his winnings, Mr. Crossan said he plans to put the money toward a new truck.

Millsboro man starts the year with a $50,000 POWERBALL® win


(DOVER, Del.) — A 92-year-old retired man from Millsboro matched four white balls and the POWERBALL® in the January 5 POWERBALL® drawing, winning $50,000 before taxes. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket using Quick Pick while visiting Super G #2351 in Millsboro.

Amazingly, this was the man’s first time playing the Delaware Lottery. He purchased 25 tickets on a whim, and was shocked to discover we had won $50,000 as a result while checking the Delaware Lottery website. “I just wanted to take a chance,” the man said. “You never know what might happen, but winning this big was certainly a shock.”

The man was happy to share the excitement of this unexpected start to the year with his daughter, who was there to help him celebrate. He’s still deciding what he’d like to do with his winnings.

The winning numbers from the January 5 drawing were 06, 14, 25, 33 and 46. The POWERBALL® number was 17, and the Power Play number was 2X.
